Overview

Apple TV's MLS coverage is watched by an audience that can tell a real first touch from a staged one, so the football had to be right before the camera was. Across three seasons the work was movement direction, test shoots to block sequences before talent was on the clock, and standing in so the crew could rehearse against a real ball. Anything moving at speed near a camera team is a stunt whether or not it gets called one, so player safety sat inside the same job.
